Everyone here works hard to make sure you enjoy your stay - the ‘front of house’ staff are very friendly and helpful, and everywhere is spotless.
Food is excellent - great assortment of (cold) options for breakfast, which is currently served 0730-1000, and lovely food at reasonable prices available later (day and evening) in the bar/restaurant.
Location is great - about 50m from a main gondola and also the excellent ski-bus, which whisks you to anywhere in the valley for €6 per week (get your ticket at hotel reception). It is at the top of the village of Pozza, which was pretty quiet when we were there, but it it was busier in peak season, you would be close enough to join in if you want, but just far enough away to get some peace and quiet also.
Facilities also great - our room was huge, spotless and had plenty of storage space. Was lovely and warm even when -10 outside! The bathroom was a good size, spotless and warm also, and the shower was superb!
We appreciated the lift when arriving and leaving with our suitcases.
The wellness area is beautifully decorated and contains a sauna and steam room (nice and hot), jacuzzi (was too cold on our first day, but we told reception and it was turned up for the rest of our stay), shower area, seating and hot/cold water to drink or make herbal teas with. Yes, it is a bit small, but we used it at 4 every day and had it to ourselves.
Boot room downstairs is a real bonus - spacious lockers that are opened by your room keycard, containing heated boot racks - bliss!
The only extra we could wish for would be tea/coffee facilities in the room, but that wasn’t a big deal.
We look forward to returning in either winter or summer!
