We stopped here for lunch and all seven of us cleaned our plates. Everything was homemade and delicious. You forget just how nice homemade lasagne and coleslaw can be. Reasonably priced and huge portions. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Been coming here every year for many years. It is very quaint, small but good food and drink. The lunches are filling with doorstop bread with the Ploughmans. Just eaten the steak and ale pie, which was full of meat and rich gravy, lovely food. Recommend suitable for children and dogs welcome. Not suitable for disabled. Ladies toilets also not suitable for people with walking difficulties

Have visited here on and off over the last 9 years. The food is lovely, not cheap but good quality, especially the mixed seafood platter, all you can eat on a plate!! If you visit here, visit the church at the end of the lane, there is a yew tree in the church grounds which is approx. 1,000 years old. The pub is near the estuary which is a beautiful walk.
