Based in the old town which is the best part of Lanciano. Irene and Guiliano are so warm and helpful. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and big patio. lovely fresh espresso for breakfast from a charming lady. We stayed with our little kids - patio was so big they could kick a ball. Perfecto!

Room Tip: We had a room with four beds and little shared kitchen. Perfect for a bit of extra room.

I stayed there while leaving my son intern in the Canadian School in Lanciano.
Irene and Guiliano were very friendly and helpful. They came in every morning to see where we needed to go and arranged that we got around without getting lost. Remember there are no taxis in Lanciano!
The place is very central and easy to get everywhere from there.
The days where extremly hot and some air conditioning would have been nice, but the fan freshened us some. Irene said that they would put air conditioning soon.
In general a very clean nicely renovated place, comfortable beds and big bathrooms for european standard.
I am planing on returning some day.

We made arrangements to stay here in late December, communicating by email with a very pleasant co-owner, Irene, who speaks English pretty well. We stayed just one night here, driving in after dark. A little hard to find the place, but our GPS got us there. The road on which it is located is very narrow, and we had some difficulty finding a place to park, as the other owner (Giuliano, who doesn't speak much English) didn't arrive to let us in til about 15 min. after we called him, and there was no place to pull over and wait. This led to some comical adventures that night as part of our family waited on the doorstep and the rest drove around in circles for a while! But the owner was very kind and helpful, ended up giving us a 2nd room for the night at no extra charge, and helped us find a place to park in the plaza below the b and b. We went to Lanciano to visit the Eucharistic Miracle and Giuliano came at 6:30 a.m. the next morning to fix our breakfast so that we could have a one hour fast before 8:00 Mass -- now THAT is excellent customer service. He also let us check out late, so we didn't have to load up our car with our luggage before going to Mass.
This b and b is housed in a very old building that has been beautifully restored. The apt. we stayed in had two large bedrooms, two full baths, plus a kitchen/dining/sitting area. The beds were comfortable, very nice furnishings throughout, the bathrooms roomier than most others we had seen in Italy, and everything was spotlessly clean. Nice, thick bath towels, too! They had snacks and drinks in the refrig. for us that night, and breakfast of coffee, milk, juice, and bakery fresh pastries that were wonderful.
Our apt. was up three flights of stairs, but the owner helped us carry the luggage up. We were able to get wireless internet with our laptop, but we had to perch next to an open window to get a signal. I wish we could have stayed here several days, as it was a most pleasant apt. and Lanciano is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, our time was limited. If we ever get the chance to go back, we would definitely stay here again!

We have been to Lanciano twice this year and it is a beautiful place. The people are so friendly and although it is not a build up tourist area everyone made an effort to try and understand us.
We stayed in part of the old town of Lanchiano in the most beautiful B and B called La Giuggiola e Gli Angeli . It is more like an apartment than a B &B .We were met by Giuliano and his wife who looked after us so well. . Coffee and crossants were brought in every morning and the apartment was spotless and cleaned every day. There was a huge terrace to sit out on and have a glass of wine in the evening and yet we were only a minute away from the heart of the town. All this for only E40 a night eachJust below the B&B there is a little cafe . I cant remember the name but he had a place in piccadilly in London and his real homemade ice cream is to die for. The church of the Miracle of the Eucharist and the Cathedral are well worth a visit.
Just down the autostrada and there is miles of beaches or go to val di sagro for tiny hillside villages with beautiful lakes. Call in for a coffee in any of the bars .
