Thankyou for a brilliant holiday at Tombreck. The location is beautiful and we had such a wonderful, relaxing week. The thoughtful little touches like an Easter egg because it was Easter week were so lovely. Already been in touch with owner to book again. Thankyou so much!

We planned a nights top at the coast and had a very pleasant time relaxing and taking in the beautiful see view. The property has everything you need. Would highly recommend this place for a super beachside break. Great access to many attractions and neighbouring towns and villages. Thanks for a great stay.

The bungalow, built in the 1930s on the beach crest between the sea and Coast Road in Pevensey Bay is wonderful – full of interesting and informal comforts that made us feel immediately at home. The original features of the 1930’s bungalow, like the triangular wardrobe in the back bedroom, are all part of its nostalgic charm. The modern additions like the enooormous television and DVD player are great - esp when the weather is stormy or wet: although they have to compete with fabulous views of the ever-changing sea from the picture window. It is deceptively spacious although its compact size helps make it one of the easiest places to look after and live in that I have ever stayed in.
Pevensey Bay has a shingle beach but lots of sand at low tide – fantastic for walks and we are all great fans of sea swimming. The village has lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways – I have to mention this year’s new discovery an amazing Indian restaurant (see trip adviser reviews: “Raipur, Excellent Indian in Pevensey Bay”).

“homely touch makes this the perfect family break with school aged children”

The bungalow is delightfully situated right on the beach. It is well appointed and clean and has obviously been a much loved family retreat for many years. I like those little touches which make this so different from a hotel. Of course good weather, which we have had this year, makes the situation come into it's own though I imagine stormy weather would be a great experience too. There is good in house entertainment for evenings spent indoors and lovely walks and historic locations nearby and the children just love a daily dip in the see and a warm bath afterwards. We really really enjoyed our stay!

“Location, location, location!”

My wife and I chose the south coast for a weeks get away commencing June 21st and we just fell in love with this wonderful bungalow set on what must be one of the most picturesque spots I have come across in all UK travelling. Room with a 'see view' is an understatement. The cosy venue looks out across the beautiful English Channel with nothing between you and the pebbles, the sand and then the sea. Over the past week we took long walks over the sandy low tides, swam during the high tides and bathed in the sun. The idyllic spot for a bbq or beach front paella, we also bought fish and chips back from the local chippie. At night we would wrap up back in the bungalow and enjoy the blissful seclusion from all the hustle and bustle of the real world. I truly got some peace from being at the lovely Tombreck and highly recommend it to all.
