We stayed at Mowhay cottage at Trengove Farm for a week while we explored Cornwall. The owners and accommodations couldn't have been nicer, so lovely surrounded by daffodil fields. The cottage had modern fixtures and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom was so comfortable and quiet we slept deeply and woke up late (for us). We loved the sunroom with radiant heat and garden exposure, where we ate breakfast and relaxed. The location was easy to use as a home base to explore every area of Cornwall. We found good restaurants in nearby towns. The wifi was a little inconsistent. FYI, as Americans we aren't familiar with "self catering" and didn't know we were responsible to replenish shampoo, toilet tissue, etc. if we used up the starter supply. That's not a criticism of the place, but a reminder to Americans who might come here. The owner was kind and gave us extra tp. We did bring laundry soap and appreciated having the laundry room on site. We highly recommend Trengove Farm Holiday Cottages and would stay here again.
We stayed at Mowhay Cottage for a 3 night break for New Years Eve. On arrival are first impression was a lovely setting with a polite warm greeting.
The Cottage itself was very clean and homely with high spec decor.
We found Lindsey & Andrew very friendly and nothing was a problem for them.
We would recommend them to our friends and definitely come back in the future.

A lovely quiet location - a 10 minute walk from Portreath and the fabulous beach. Sunday roast at the Bassett Arms in the town is highly recommended - tasty food and good value. The cottage was beautifully decorated, comfortable and cozy. It was a joy to return to after a windswept walk on the beach! The perfect place to relax and unwind. Will definitely book again
