We stayed at Lismore for 4 nights as a group of 5 friends (around 25 y/o) and were absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitality and location itself.
Amy and Mirella gave us a very warm welcome and we even got a basket of provisions with cidre, camenbert, baguette and other local specialities. When we arrived they immidiately invited us to join their New Year's party where we had an awesome time with Amy and her guests.
The location is a huge property with stables, a lake with Clyde (the house-swan) and paddocks. Lismore is absoutely perfect also for 5 people (we asked for an extra-bed, which was no problem). The kitchen has everything you can ask for, including a coffee machine, microwave, toaster, ...
You can reach all historical sights (D-Day) within short distance, the way to Mont Saint Michel is about 1 hour by car.
We can absolutely recommend this place and we want to thank Amy for her heartwarming hospitality. We will hopefully come back soon! :-)

Very quiet setting, with a warm welcome (we were invited to join a birthday celebration for the housekeeper within minutes of arriving). Loads of space with two good sized bedrooms and a huge open plan kitchen/living/dining area.
You need a car and if arriving from the east, leave the motorway at isigny sur mer and head for Cats - property is just beyond Cats.
A very friendly welcome and generous basket of provisions including local cider, so off to a good start. Peaceful rural location with easy main road access if you take the right map (tricky for us at midnight with the wrong one, but my mistake). Neighbouring gites and very pleasant lakeside surroundings. Nicely furnished with spacious bedrooms/bathrooms and a large open-plan kitchen and living area.
