We visited when we were out and about on Saturday lunch time. We had a very warm greeting and were made to feel very welcome.

We ordered Ham egg and chips and a club sandwich. Both were very nice, the food was plentiful and the service was excellent.

We will visit again maybe to sample a Sunday lunch. Well worth stopping off for.

We were staying locally at a holiday cottage so first visited pub due to its proximity and convenience. However we repeatedly visited due to the friendly staff, warm welcome and the absolutely delicious food.
The prices were comparable to others in the area the portion sizes large and the menu varied.
Would definitely revisit

We have passed this Inn many times on our travels mostly late at night when it is illuminated. This time we stopped for lunch.
Plenty of parking and plenty of seating outside and in. This time of the year we ate inside, in a spacious and clean dining area to the left of the ordering and bar area.
An extremely helpful and polite lady took our order and served our drinks whilst we waited. Although an oldy worldly Inn it has been well maintained. The initial approached area was flat with a few steps down to games area and toilets.
Toilets were clean and stocked but tired in decor and could be improved by refreshing.
Our meals were brought out in reasonable waiting time and presented well. Generous portions and good value for money, and clearly freshly prepared.
This is a place we will stop in again when in the area and if it is in busy times of the year it would be wise to book ahead especially for Sunday Lunch.
Varied menu and daily specials board, really something for everyone.

We ended our holiday having a meal at this lovely country pub. Me and my wife both had steaks which were delicious especially with the port and Stilton sauce. The kids enjoyed their meals we all had starters and it was reasonably priced. The pub had a nice warm and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
