We had been there last week with not much idea about Bison Woods. But on reaching, we were extremely surprised by the organic farm and luxury tents. The tent was a different experience for us and everyone can try it. The private garden in tents was relaxing in evenings. The organic garden was very pleasent and interesting to watch along with the gardener, Mr.Muniyandi. The food was mouthwatering and hygiene. Food was managed by Chef Sathish and Chef Sakthi who also kindly come and talk to us regarding queries during meal time. The Chefs, Manager, Supervisor and workers Malar, Nirmala, Jaya and Mani were very friendly and kind. We had lovely time in WOW!!!!
One smalll suggestion to Bison woods management, The single fan in the room is not enough during summer daytime. Nights are slightly managable. it would be very nice to see another fan in our next visit.

Room Tip: Luxury tents and Grand Tents are good choice.

We did not want any fancy place but a simple place which is calm and quiet.
After doing loads of research, we zeroed on Wow bison Woods. My first priority was food, as my 6 year old son has some food restrictions, and being pure vegetarians, we previously had difficulty in finding pure veg restaurants, hence availability of veg food was the priority. We also wanted a place which is secluded, yet close to the city.
Our journey from bangalore to yercaud was comfortable, and we reached to Bison Woods comfortably, its not very difficult to locate this place.
The lunch was buffet, and it was awesome. Everything was freshly prepared, most of the ingredients were home grown, and it was fresh, homely food. They had a huge spread for all sorts of taste buds, rice, pulaav, chapati, daals, sambar, rasam, salad, raita, bhaji, one paneer dish, and kheer. They serve hot chapatis and we ate as if there was no tomorrow.
They have fixed timings for breakfast, lunch and dinner so if you are planning to eat at the resort, you have to plan your outings accordingly, and it's totally worth it.
Dinner was a mix of desi food and pasta, soup. It was very tasty and I was very happy that my son had plenty of choices.
I must mention the staff here, they all are friendly and helpful. We opted for the luxury Swiss tent which didn't have a ceiling fan, hence it was very stuffy in the noon, the management sent an aircooler on their own, that really was a wonderful gesture. The resort has about 4 suits in the main building and those rooms are more comfortable than the tent, as tents get very hot during noons, also you get to hear lots of noises in the morning, so it might disturb your sleep.
There are various trees and plants grown on the property and very well maintained. However, I wish there were more things to play, they have 2 swings and a trampoline, and kids get bored easily. I think if they can add couple of slides and roundabouts , it will be much better.
We stayed there for three nights, and we were upgraded to the luxury suite as we were finding it difficult to bear the heat in the afternoon. They have a campfire every night at 9pm, and it was a good experience. Those who like more alive places and want to have liquor or non veg, might not enjoy this place, as they don't serve either.
I must mention, Mr. Satish, the eversimling chef, very friendly and pleasant person. He and his team is awesome. I even went ahead and asked for couple of recipes, and wrote them down.
The manager, Mr. Natrajan is also very helpful.
If you want to be away from the city, enjoy peace and tranquility, good food, good hospitality and memorable stay then WoW bison Woods it is.. Look no further!

I have been in Bison woods with my wife and nine month old baby. Overall our stay at Bison woods was very nice. Great ambiance for a family day out. It is good to book executive/Grand room if you are carrying an infant.
Staff's were very helpful. Chef Sakthi is very passionate on preparing varieties of food and all the food we had taste very good. He helped us to prepare special food for our baby.

All the staff in the resort are well behaved and very caring.

Thank you all for giving us a wonderful day at Bison woods!
