My wife and I went for a 5 day recharge. This resort is amazing. The rain forest setting adjacent for the gorgeous private beach is beyond belief. It's not a boisterous resort with lots of nightlife. Think of it as a place totally chill out and relax. It's all a little pricey but the setting is unsurpassed. We had a one bedroom suite with his and hers bathrooms. It's easy to eat gluten free here which was a must for my wife. She is also a vegan which limited things a little but the sad worked with us. One easy easy to improve things: offer a gluten free beee( omission lager is a nice high end option) trust me, they would sell a ton if it. This is an environmentally
Conscientious hotel. They even run an animal rescue on the grounds. Ask to visit it.
The staff were all great bit of note:
Jeff holthaus: charming man in charge of the pool/beach area. Really made us feel welcome and worked very hard to be sure we were happy
Carmen: waitress at SeaGrapes. Very helpful with gluten free guidance. Wonderfully warm person.
Ruben Guzman: head of in room dining. Kindly gave us a lift ton molasses when we made a wrong turn. Very nice person .
Cesar: set up beach chairs . Nice young man. Well spoken.
Jey: waiter at Fern. Very, very helpful and listens well .
