Stopped in this lovely refurbished pub for lunch. Lovely setting nice little cosy bits to sit in. Food is lovely and they make lovely quiche.
Staff are always very friendly and never have to wait long for your order or your food.
There is a lovely courtyard at the back to sit out when it's not too cold and the weather is ok.
Lovely place to go and eat.

Thank Valerie S

A good place to hide from the storm and have lunch. Cullen skunk for me and one of the days quiche for her, today's choice goats cheese basil and tomato. Both v good and satisfying so didn't get tempted by the gorgeous looking puds or cakes.....

Whilst holidaying in Amble, we decided to walk to Warkworth to explore the local area.

When we arrived we popped into this cafe/bistro for a coffee, and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who took our order promptly. We both ordered a latte and the cakes on the counter looked so tempting that I couldn't resist trying one - I went for the chocolate brownie (gluten free) which was possibly the best brownie I've ever had!

Would heartily recommend!

Modern ,exceptionally clean , comfortable and spacious, with an interesting menu. Our first impressions encouraged us to stay and we were not disappointed. Like many places in this area it is dog friendly, but there was plenty of room for those without! The specials board featured a skullen something dish which turned out to be like a fish chowder, and was absolutely delicious according to my husband. I opted for a minute steak and onions in ciabattabread with salad , another lovely meal. The homemade apple crumble was another delight, made from freshly picked apples. All the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Bertram’s is a lovely clean tea room with great art work on the walls.

The seating is nicely set out without the tables being on top of each other.

I have read the earlier comments re dogs, the area is known for walkers and many have dogs. You can choose whether or not you want to eat there.

We had played golf at Warkworth and wanted a spot of lunch.

We ordered the vegetable broth which came with two little cheese scones. This was lovely, hot and the scones really tasty.

Reasonably priced and the coffee is also good.

We will definitely visit again.
