“Very bad experience ”
Review of Air Canada Rouge

This was our 10th year anniversary trip. Vegas was our destination. We planned for a short 3 day trip with our 4 year old daughter. But air Canada turned it to a nightmare! All the baggage on that flight did not arrive. Our baggage was delayed for 2 days! Our medications and our clothes was in the baggage. We kept calling and they kept postponing the arrival of our baggage. We ended up seeing a doctor to get prescription and buying new clothes. The customer service was very poor! One of the representatives told us “ well you are not going to pay for the luggage to get transferred to your hotel”!!!!I strongly recommend not to fly with this airline or if you do get everything you need on your carry on.

The Positives:
- We eventually reached our destination
- The food was a bit better than you'd expect based on standup comedy routines
- The airplane seemed clean enough
- The flight attendants did the best they could at corralling a small minority of very disrespectful passengers
- A decent price

The Negatives:
- Getting nickeled-and-dimed for in-flight entertainment
- Very cramped, uncomfortable seating
- Generally incompetent, non-communicative employees who managed to lose a few minutes at every turn with inefficiency, leading to a flight that was nearly 2 hours late in the end

It was a smooth flight , from check in counter flight was 10.05 pm , we arrived at the airport at 6.30 pm , directed to the check in counter- no line up. Dropped off our luggage
Went to security gate - 20 minutes , The boarding time was 9.40 pm .By 9.50 pm very body were in the plane it left on time. We were served a hot meal , then a snack prior
To arrival.The staff were nice & pleasant.

I've never had a problem with Air Canada flights. They're always on time and I've never had issues with luggage but the plane itself....hate it. Too small and the leg room is even smaller. :|

Outbound flight from Toronto to Cancun on Mar 14th, 2018, 6:15am. No complains other than few things: The plane seemed to be very old or not very well maintained (interior)

I am not quite sure till now why the Carrier passes on check in luggage fees on to the customers. As you all know no free food is offered on these flights. I understand everything with one exception - the savings do not seem to be passed on over to the Customers. In case it is internal flight - it should be cheaper (it is much more expensive than internal European flights), in case it is not internal, why do we pay luggage fees and do not get the small perks as free food?
