Rex airline was amazing.
They boarded us on time, took off on time and landed on time.

I fell asleep and when I woke up I had a little treat on the seat next to me.
Who doesn’t love waking up to some snacks??!!!

As soon as I walked to the baggage claim my luggage came out within 2mins.

Talk about service.

Thanks to the Rex team for making sure everything was on time.

You don’t get that with Jetstar.
Jetstar delayed my flights 8/10 times.

Will be flying with Rex from now on!

I recently flew with REX for the first time to Perth. I can say its the best Budget airline I have flown so far.
The flight was on time and seamless service by the ground staff and cabin crew.
The cabins were clean and great. Cabin crew Alana and Cabin Manager Tanya were fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure that all passengers were comfortable and well taken care of. Their friendliness and attention to detail significantly enhanced the flight experience. Love Rex and can't wait to fly again.

Horrific experience - AVOID REX. While on a 1-hour delay (due to “weather” when all was clear and beautiful nationwide), I was told to “run” by the gate agents - and made my near-missed connection, only to find out Rex had, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION taken me off that flight and rebooked me, which meant they closed the gate early. I watched the plane push back and leave, there with time to spare. No communication with me, nor did the ground crew tell us we weren’t on the flight anymore. Ran between terminals, paid train fare to get to T2, lost a bag, all for nothing. Rex is taking zero responsibility, no hotel, and my only option is to take a 47-hour itinerary with back to back redeyes and no mileage accrual. This was insane, and SHAME ON DELTA for partnering with this garbage airline. How a tiny regional airline can take control of a $3000 Delta ticket is incomprehensible to me.

Worst airline experience of my life. Refused entry and told to ‘leave my carry on luggage’ at the airport. I had a previous flight cancelled and re-booked with REX. I arrived 3 hours before the flight and there was no one at the check in desk to get my boarding pass as I was unable to download online. The plane was then delayed for an hour. When trying to board I was told to wait until the end for my pass to be printed at which the point the very unhelpful attendant said he had to weigh my bag and it was 3 kilos over the carry on limit so he simply said you need to leave it you cannot bring it on the place. I explained I could obviously not do that and would happily pay an over weight allowance but he refused. From here it only got worse as I began taking items out to throw away and asked for them re-weigh but he said they would not as because the plane was delayed there was no time. At this point he masked the decision to do an announcement for 2 passengers who had not yet boarded and I asked that if they had not boarded surely my bag being 3 kilos over would now be fine and there was enough time to re weigh. He refused and said ‘he would not argue with me’. This was at 20:00 at night, all other airlines were sold out. I asked if he or REX had any compassion but he simply did not care and at this point just ignored me. He told me I should have arrived earlier and read the T&C. I had to pay for a hotel for the night and book with a new airline for the next day. I will NEVER fly with REX and will ensure anyone I meet or speak with is aware and does not fly with them either. AWFUL.

8+ Hour delay in Sydney to fly to Coffs Harbour. No particular reason eg weather was fine. One Rex flight left for Cofffs that was not full but they didn’t put any other passengers delayed flying to Coffs on the flight - all too hard. Got $10 food voucher even though food costs $15-$20 for a meal. Were told flight crew are ready but then 60 minutes later then told they need a mandatory break. Airlines should give credit back for the flight when delayed over a reasonable amount of time - 8+ hour delay is NOT reasonable
