Review of Rex Airlines

Today flying home from Tasmania on a Rex flight that I have never used before, not knowing what to expect as a friend booked the flights.
I’m going to give it a 10/10 for staff, complementary service, luggage of 23kg which is very important to me. Especially when coming from Tasmania and you have bought goodies back home.

The crew asked everyone to give snack and drink except me . Even I am in aisle front of her but she just served the passenger in same row of me and just look me and skip . I don’t mind to not get the snack and drink but why only me not get it.

Such a disgusting airline/company racist on many terms. Discrimination at its finest! What do you expect of a company who only favours Aussie/English. Shame on rex you guys are pathetic and not even worth 1 star !

First time travelling with Rex and been two and half hours late and never ever back to this airline and I’m not recommending this airline to anyone

Our flight for Sunday morning was cancelled on Saturday afternoon without reason. The airline advised to call its hotline. Waited for an hour and did not get satisfactory service. We were told there would be no compensation for travel, accommodation or missed plans.

This is the third major delay/cancellation I’ve experienced with REX in the last year or so. Had started using Qantas in the meantime due to this unreliability. Should have remained with Qantas.

Also worth noting, when searching for flights and prices, Rex’s website came up cheapest, however during the last stage of booking they added significant taxes. It was cheaper to book via a travel agency.
