Our flight for Sunday morning was cancelled on Saturday afternoon without reason. The airline advised to call its hotline. Waited for an hour and did not get satisfactory service. We were told there would be no compensation for travel, accommodation or missed plans.
This is the third major delay/cancellation I’ve experienced with REX in the last year or so. Had started using Qantas in the meantime due to this unreliability. Should have remained with Qantas.
Also worth noting, when searching for flights and prices, Rex’s website came up cheapest, however during the last stage of booking they added significant taxes. It was cheaper to book via a travel agency.
