We were looking at a last minute get away to join friends at their home in jamaica,I had searched numerous airlines and found 2 decently priced seats on Westjet ,I even used up my westjet dollars,only hiccup was the 2 hour plus delay,that they would not explain ,then even a more delay in the air,wow,nothing worse when you a rental driver waiting for you ,and you are hours late,flight was smooth,stewards were very friendly,plane was not full ,so some extra room,now we had exit seats,but did not pay extra for them,another small tiff is some passengers should consider better personal hygiene products,especially when travelling in close quarters, when it comes to flights look around ,and you decide,cheers

My husband and I did a multi city trip starting in December and ended back home in January. From the beginning it was a hassle. The staff in Edmonton where great at the desk but the flight was delayed and no there was no reason. No storm no de-icing just really bad flight staff. Then when we arrived in Ottawa they deplaned us for no reason. We literally deplaned and then walked back onto the same plane 5 minutes later. No seat change either. Our luggage in Halifax took over half an hour to get to us. Then the flight from Halifax was okay until we hit Toronto. The new system of waiting and waiting for your name on a screen to then clear customs is redundant. The staff for WestJet in Toronto need to be fired. The rudeness and the lack of compassion was frustrating to say the lest. The the flight from Fort Lauderdale to Edmonton in January was a nightmare. The routing through Toronto again and the mike hike to get to the domestic side was crazy. The customs area with computers is like hurdled cattle and no where near enough people to service you. West jet needs to do something because I for one will not fly them again. They say that they care because their staff are owners too, but I’m sorry to say the service and staff need an upgrade.

We always like to fly with WestJet Airline. Overall, they are a creditable corporation take prides for serving passengers. As a whole, they try their best to accommodate every passengers and to make things run smoothly. Our recent flights experience from Los Angeles to Vancouver 1697 then from Vancouver to Toronto 0720 was amazing. From Counter Crew to flight Crew members and Pilots, they were very pleasant. At the counter, things ran smoothly and accurately for our requests. Inflight service, the crew members always available, fast, and happy to assist and Pilots spoke often to keep passengers informed with information. These members demonstrated their abilities and willingness to provide Excellent Customer Service. Thank You WestJet 1697 and 0720 on January 5/18.

We met the kindest, most patient and professional crew on our flight, and when we landed in Vancouver we met some wonderful ground crew that helped us get emergency services we needed. We fly WestJet all the time but they have our business from now on.
Thank you to everyone that looked after us last week, your we’re all wonderful!

We have flown WestJet many times. Years ago the promotion was they were different than Air Canada but they have reached their level. Get more direct flights.
This is the first time we lost a bag and it took many calls to retrieve the bag. Now to reclaim our lost bag requires more work ($100).
On the way home the flight was delayed because of baggage issues loading the plane.
When we arrived in Calgary our over sized package took an extra long time to be delivered while our limousine driver waits. All other bags had long been picked up.
This was very bad service. The claims people sitting behind the counter found it difficult to get off their seats.
If I can - I will not fly WestJet - I will look into stopping their credit card - please let them know. Wow - flight attendants telling jokes does not cut it?
We did appreciate telling people Carry on bags to be checked would not be charged.
