As many others have described, this airline does not allow people to drag onboard numerous over-sized pieces of luggage. That luggage will go into the baggage storage, and I am glad to see at least this airline pay attention to this sort of thing.

Overall comfort was about average, the crew were all nice, but very efficient as they only have but so much time between Spain and Portugal.

We had a slight delay departing Madrid, but that was due to the fog at the Porto airport, so no fault of TAP.

Our baggage was collected, we were charged the typical baggage fees, and we had no problems with our bags, they arrived in the Porto terminal soon after we did.

Some people have pointed out that there are no perfect airlines, and I would certainly second that suggestion. TAP isn’t perfect, but they are low cost, so you get what you pay for.

Not recommended--service subpar. Excessive baggage fees. Fraudulent practices: unable to buy extra baggage online because credit card is rejected by TAP. Then, you pay excessive fees ($95 per bag) at the airport. Anti-consumer!

No-problem flights, Toronto to Lisbon and back. Check-in, boarding, plane comfort, in-flight service, all acceptable. Crew was hard-working and helpful.

Really they board our hand luggages saying that they was too big to carry has hand luggages. That's not true; the luggages were of the sizes required to carry on but of course they don't have enough space for all the passengers so for this reason they take some luggages and carry it (for free of course) as hold luggage. Next time just said the truth without saying any other excuse, it's more appreciated.

The flight went without a hitch or problem. I flew carry-on only. The flight was on time, the crew was courteous and the food wasn't any worse than typical Economy-class airline food. Overall it was great. For the price I paid it was worth it. Got a free layover in Lisboa en route back to NYC. No airline is perfect and sometimes things don't go according to plan, but I don't understand all the terrible reviews. I'd fly with them again. The only real issue is I'd say their boarding is a bit unorganized in Lisboa, but that's not a major issue.
