We purchased the preboarding passes as we flew over the holiday and wanted to make sure we sat together. We were one of the first 30 people to board and sat in the front of the aircraft. This helped get us off quickly as well. I did not have to worry about checking in 24 hours in advance to get a boarding number. It was assigned to me. Went to the airport and they printed our boarding passes.

I was pleased that the flight was on time and although it was a rather bumpy ride, we landed safely. The pilot mentioned that we encountered turbulence a few times and I know they can't control the weather so I am not faulting them for that. The only part of the flight that wasn't great was the fact that two of the flight attendants (both male) were kind of surly and not friendly at all. They looked like they did not like their jobs. Didn't smile or act welcoming at all!

Our flight out to Phoenix was on time and uneventful, which is what you want for a flight. The flight attendants were polite and friendly which is always a plus.

The only thing I don't like is the queing system Southwest has for boarding.
Otherwise, the onetime departure and arrival, plus great onboard staff, is all you can ask for.

Good flight. seat space seems small. We like being able to check bags without additional charges. Airline staff was very friendly and attentive
