My 13 year old daughter and I flew Southwest to see my sister in March. It was her first time flying and loved it. The check-in process is very easy on their app. The quicker you check in, the better your seat choice. We just went to the airport and printed our tickets, then waited for them to announce boarding. They board you in groups, then you pick your own seats. The flights attendants were nice, and some were very funny with their announcements and safety procedures. We got the standard snack and drink on all of our flights. The best part of Southwest is that bags are free!

We were traveling with business select tickets and was expecting a little more than getting on the plane with people already there and keeping place for people that were suppose to be boarding behind us. The stewards did nothing about it. The service on the plane was sufficient, but unfriendly. So was check in. The lady really made us feel that she was doing us a huge favor. When we got to LAX we had to wait 30 minutes to get our gate, which I know is not South West's fault and then we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our luggage. If you are flying with South West rather buy the cheapest tickets and the early bird check in rather than Business Select. It really is nearly the same, much cheaper and the only thing you get extra with Business Select is an Alcoholic drink.

We connected in Houston en route to Costa Rica. We were late arriving in Houston, i don’t know why bc we left Chicago on time, but we deplaned and our connecting flight was already boarding!! Thank goodness our connection was at the next gate. But as always, plane was super clean and the flight attendants were sweet and fun.

We fly Southwest 99% exclusively. Midway is handy from our home, and we do appreciate the service, fares of Southwest. On nearly all flights, at least of the of the flight attendants has some catchy method of sharing flight/safety information. Our flights are mainly less than 2-3 hours, and I'm impressed at how drinks and snacks, then clean up can be achieved in this period of time.

Flew through Baltimore to Aruba, planes were on time, had plenty of time to change planes on both legs of trip, still wished they would assign seats but the price of flight and time traveled was great
