I have nothing against the service onboard—the friendliness of the cabin attendants was fabulous. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the Business Class Seats in a Boeing 777-ER. They looked outdated and needed to be refreshed. Although they always like to offer the best in the sky, they should keep an eye on this. The food selection surprised me: one noodle soup in the regular menu and another in a Book a Chef. I did not expect this. The coffee from the barista machine was nice, but why only offer it after dinner? With the refreshment before landing, you got only the regular coffee. Also sad: one drink is only available before take off. But they did not have it onboard. The selection of movies sounds so giant, but 2/3 of you can erase the subject you speak perfectly, one of the Asian languages (subject you want to read the subtitles). But it was better to spend my points here than with the German home carrier. I hope that they will bring back the A380 for this route.

I was excited to travel Singapore Airlines as I'd heard they were among the best out there. But having just returned from our long haul flights with them, I can report they were decidedly average!

The service was odd. My pre-ordered vegan meal and others came out first. We weren't offered a drink at the sme time and there was no drinks service before the first meal. I couldn't wait for my partner to get his regular meal to eat together because there was such a time delay between the two that my food would have been cold. He was offered a drink and at this time so was I but my meal was eaten by then.

My food on the way out was pretty nice but on the return flight it was not. A big lump of tofu with some fairly dry and odd flavoured rice. With the opportunity to offer a lovely curry or noodle dish, I don't understand this choice.

Drinks service was lacking. We were only offered one drink with dinner. I don't evr drink much on a flight but a gin and tonic would have been nice on a 14 hours flight! On the overnight flight I didn't see the attendants offering water very often either. I asked for a juice because I was really thirsty.

The legroom on the way out was tight. Our A 380 plane on the way back was better.

All in all a disappointing experience and I will be looking to book other airlines in future

Decided to spend some extra money on Business class since the flight is long. To my surprise, the difference between Economy class and Business was not an arm and a leg kind of difference. I think this was unique to Singapore Airlines. Usually it is undoable for us common folks. Just being able to sleep flat on my back was worth it since I don't really need the pampering.
The only thing that wasn't that great was the layover in Singapore airport. long hours sitting on an armchair is not ideal. There some uncomfortable inclined armchairs in some room, avoid them.

This Airline defines the meaning of flying.On time and friendly customer service.Even the aircraft they use was a wide body for long hual flights.I flew 7 hours and felt there was enough leg room even in economy.Being 6 foot 2.Clean aircraft food better then others I flew with.I would definitely fly with them and recommend it to any one .They don't cut corners.

I was excited to travel with Singapore as I believed them to be a more superior airline. The service was meh and the food was dreadful! Last year we travelled with Qatar to Singapore and they were amazing, I assumed Singapore would be the same but I would definitely rank them as one of my lowest experiences. To make matters worse they messed up my flying points and their ground customer service is just as bad. For long haul in future I will now only fly emirates and Qatar and use Virgin for the states. Singapore was not to my family
