“Scammy behavior.”
Review of Singapore Airlines

Reviewed 9 December 2024

I flew on Singapore intending to transfer my miles I earned back to United through their program that allows that but what they didn’t tell me is if you have a krisflyer account they won’t let you do that. So don’t sign up for their loyalty program when their associates tell you to or they essentially take your miles for nothing.

All the 4 flights availed for the trip from Kolkata to New Zealand & back was delayed by hours resulting panic/worries of missing connection. Crews apologies over speaker but not on action.Had to struggle for water services for a long 10 hours flight in economy class. Leg space crammed for avg tall persons & crew don’t care about economy class passengers!

Once upon a time, the best airlines to fly with has now gone to the pigs!
The customer service/ call centers are managed by a bunch of Filipinos (all of whom are polite but read scripts off a clipboard I'm guessing. My return flight via SFO was cancelled by their partner airlines and I was asked to call their partner airlines to get a seat. I booked and paid my tickets directly to Spore Airlines. What an audacity to tell a customer to go figure if you're going to swim or fly on a pigeon's back to get to your destination!

I called some 6 times put on hold constantly because 'they were checking' for best options! And no solution in sight.

I spent more than 2 hours on calls and in the end I had to cut short my own vacation because the airlines partner messed up and the billion dollar airline wouldn't fork out a penny to pay for hotel stays.

I am so disappointed at how they handled the whole thing.
I have flown EVA, China Air, Korean Air and Nippon Air multiple times but never doing Singapore EVER again!!!!

Terrible service. They changed my child's seat arrangement without notice, separating the parent and child for a long 14-hour flight.

Singapore Airlines lost one of our suitcases from our flight out from Auckland Airport. Despite having Priory tags on suitcase and barcode with destination airport code the idiots still managed to send my suitcase to Doha airport!! Menzies at auckland airport are useless and take no responsibility for their dumb actions! Had someone simply scanned my tag they would have seen what destination it was destined for. Singapore Airlines took no responsibility a d where very slow to try and find what went wrong Thankfully a supervisor for baggage handling at Delhi Airport scanned my suitcase receipts on my boarding pass and informed me that suitcase was in Doha!!! The short of it is we had to make arrangements the next day to get back to the airport and pick up the suitcase which was put on a flight straight to Delhi and organised by this supervisor who k ew good customer service unlike stupid Singapore Airlines who have yet to compensate me for the stress and expense to return back to pick up suitcase and that we had to get toiletries and footwear as that suitcase contained it. Surprisingly I haven't received a survey from them as yet so here's one they can have!
Also I will never willingly flybwith them again as out of the business class set ups what is the point of the funny angled bed where your feet are tilted to one side? Other airlines manage lie flat and straight! I sometimes think the reviews on YouTube by these reviewers who seem to get free flights from the airlines is just that a not real review for a free flight!!
