Has not been travel for quite awhile. SQ956 is a morning flight to Jakarta from Changi Airport T2. T2 has changed frorm counter check-in to self check-in. There are many self check-in counterd at row 3 & 4. Once you scan your passport (internet login), the counter will prompt you for confirmation follow by luggage check-in. The baggage must be postioned in standing or hand handle must be facing up. Once luggage is okay, a luggage confirmation ticket will be printed out.
You can proceed to the immgration counter and to your gate.
SQ596 is served by airbus À350 with first class, business class & economy class. The boarding is quite smooth. The take off is okay and about 1:45 minutes flight. Once arrive at Jakarta airport, those with foreigner passport without voa will be directed through the central lane. At the immgration counter, the clearance is quite fast and out to claim your luggage. The luggage belt takes awhile before it moves. After having the luggage, out to the taxi stand for the taxi to the hotel. The whole process is getting good.

This airline ticks all boxes for us. The staff are unobtrusive, attentive when needed and constantly working to make your flight happy. Anything you want (that they can provide) you just ask for. Check in very smooth @ SA desk at Manchester. In fact, the staff remembered us and changed the seating to our advantage. Flights both ways had empty seats, and in some cases passengers could spread across 3 and sleep. In flight, food, drinks and snacks endlessly provided if you need them. Flight coming back was rough, but that is don to the weather and not the airline. We shall fly with them again.....

From Singapore to Perth my husband became unwell the crew were bring water warm
Towles and stoping bye all the time checking on his health.

Fantastic, personal service through and through, bravo to you guys, you are the best. Have flown on other airlines and this was my first with SIA, and i loved every minute of it. Attention to detail and personal service. I used book the cook and I was not dissapointed.

The worst airline with the rudest flight attendance that I have ever seen. I can’t believe people ranked this joke airline top 5 in the world. The seats are average, the food is bland, the flight attendance rude and racist, and the plane has loos carpet on the floor with dirty restrooms. If you are thinking this is a good airline I highly recommend to fly Emirates, Qatar, ANA or Airfrance to see the difference in food and costumer service. Singapore airlines lost my business and respect forever. It’s a United airline version of Asia!
