“Flying to Beussels”
Review of SAS

Reviewed 5 weeks ago via mobile

I fly to Brussels at least once a year but normally with other Airlines. Decided to try SAS this time and it was a good decision. A bit more expensive but Better service.

My friend and I purchased Go Saver seats on SAS about 6 months before our planned trip and the price was reasonable. However, the in-flight service on this airline was worse than any I have experienced on any flight I have ever taken. First, on any intercontinental flight, the drinks are usually free - soft drinks, wine, beer, etc. Not so on SAS. You got one soft drink (warm, no ice) but had to purchase any alcohol and any additional soft drinks. Only had diet or artificially sweetened sodas. Food was not any worse than most but service was dismal. Only came back once after serving to collect trash and stewardesses were not very friendly. I will not use this airline again.

This is a true cheap no nothing airline. All other airlines give you wine/beer during meal time on international flights. Austrian airlines even served wine/beer free for a short 3 hour flight within EU....These people, SAS, charge you. Imagine $10 ( and maybe more because of exchange rate) for a lousy tiny bottle of wine.
The food sucked as well. The flight crew didn't seem to be happy working there.
Don't be fooled by the somewhat cheaper flight price, you pay otherwise.

Me and my wife recently visited Copenhagen for the fist time whilst taking part in the Half Marathon.
We choise SAS as their prices were very reasonable although we had never flown with them before.
The flight out was wonderful and we were really surprised at the amount of legroom and free tea and coffee on the 1 HR 25 mins journey. The staff were really friendly and helpful and made the journey very comfortable.
The return flight was a similar story and we were very impressed with the overall package SAS provided for us.
We will definately fly with SAS again and would recommend them to others.
