We travelled with Qatar airways from Norway to the Maldives 1st of December and returned from the Maldives on the 11th of December. Since I am tall we had booked seats in the comfort class (which they only have DOH-MLE due to a rented aircraft).
On the way to MLE the footrest in both seats were out of order. On the return flight 10 days later they were still out of order. However now the TV screens did not work either, so we got 2 Ipads from the crew, but you neede to sit and hold them if you wanted to use them. No excuse from the crew for the inconvenience.
I have made 2 requests to Qatar customer service. Do they come back to us? NO! It seems that they do not care. Same thing happened 2 years ago when we complained on a problem when flying to Male on business class. They now advertice that they have 25 years with excellence. That is not valid for their customer service, because customer service do not exist if you contact them with a problem.
I also have a problem changing my email adress in my profile. Again no help from their customer service. Luckily there is competition and we will not have Qatar airways as our preffered airline anymore.
