We travelled with Qatar airways from Norway to the Maldives 1st of December and returned from the Maldives on the 11th of December. Since I am tall we had booked seats in the comfort class (which they only have DOH-MLE due to a rented aircraft).
On the way to MLE the footrest in both seats were out of order. On the return flight 10 days later they were still out of order. However now the TV screens did not work either, so we got 2 Ipads from the crew, but you neede to sit and hold them if you wanted to use them. No excuse from the crew for the inconvenience.

I have made 2 requests to Qatar customer service. Do they come back to us? NO! It seems that they do not care. Same thing happened 2 years ago when we complained on a problem when flying to Male on business class. They now advertice that they have 25 years with excellence. That is not valid for their customer service, because customer service do not exist if you contact them with a problem.

I also have a problem changing my email adress in my profile. Again no help from their customer service. Luckily there is competition and we will not have Qatar airways as our preffered airline anymore.

Just awful customer service experience from the staff for a long-haul flight. Poor amenities and couldn't wait to get off the plane.

If you have to change your flight you have to pay non refundable fees, but they can delay your flight to be more than 29 h without any accommodation or they refuse to refund your money or they promise you to call back but they never do, you can spend couple of hours on the phone but they simply don’t care, if the same problem happens with another airline , KLM, LFH, expedia, sheap flights, but their reaction was completely different, they were more respectful, and they refunded all the amount and sometimes with extra vouchers.

Thank you Kris Xandra Castelo for giving me hope that Qatar Airways was finally going to take my situation seriously and then stating 'we can't find proof of your email and booking in our system'... and then ignoring all the evidence of their own emails and flight itinerary when I sent it! Perhaps Qatar Airways needs a new IT system if they are unable to locate their communications with their customers. I cannot understand how such an unethical airline can continue to exist! Why are they allowed to operate? I have proof that they never sent me a voucher to redeem my unused flight during Covid (despite them making massive profits). They promised a travel voucher (in writing) but then never sent it (despite me writing back to say they hadn't provided me with one) and then, instead of making good on their promise, ceased all communication with me and made themselves completely uncontactable. Words can't explain how rotten these people are. Why is there no ombudsman for middle eastern airlines? This needs to change!!!

I had to cancel my flight due to ilness and Qatar Airways sent me my refunf almost immediately. I hope to travel with them again when I get the opertunity.
