One positive is that both flights were on time. Qantas use Alliance from Whitsunday to Brisbane. Ancient plane, hard seats but the biggest issue was the toilet. Unclean and positively reeked true to age and poor past cleaning, drop toilets smell better. Our snack was a few crackers and salsa. No entertainment available,
Flight from Brisbane to Melbourne was better, dinner was a sausage roll with a Lindt ball for dessert. A far cry from the past when you received a nice meal.
All in all, on time but not worth the premium price.

This was my second flying overseas with Qantas. Usually I flew every year with SQ. I was surprised there were all stewards in the plane, no stewardess. I was not well in the plane, coughing a lot & my chest was sore. Btw i am 70 years old woman. Just got back from 15 days tour in Japan. I asked for warm water to 2 men( stewards), but until few hours the water didn’t come. Then i walked to the very back of the plane where they ( all stewards) were there chatting. I told them i asked for warm water ages ago. One man said who you ask to who you ask to? He said that twice without said any sorry and with very arogant. Then gave me warm water. I really disappointed with their service. Because maybe I am Asian so they don’t have any manner to Asian people ( few of them are Asian). The worst service i’ve ever had in the plane which has to be Qantas that i am very rare to fly with. Hope they learn a lesson! Don’t be too arogant, the customers are king, you should give the best service! I only ask warm water because i am sick & coughing a lot in the plane. And i never fly overseas with Qantas anymore. The service was zero!!!!!!

Maybe it could be because the leprechaun has gone? But both legs QF 435/QF 444 of our trip were on time (nearly), no bags lost, a first after several priors, and with friendly crews! If this is the new Qantas, then things are looking up. If they can just get the prices a bit more friendlier they can be world beaters again!

The only reason one may travel with Qantas is their monopoly. Terrible food, poor service, dirty toilets, old aircraft

Booking was cancelled . Melbourne to Perth to London cancelled day before flight. Offered Melbourne to Singapore to London given flights with 2h connection. 3 hours before leaving for airport were told flight was delayed by one hour giving 40 minutes to make connection. Cancelled flight and booked Emirates. What a poor show.
