Qantas lost my luggage in 2023. After lengthy and numerous discussions with customer service, all they said was that they were doing everything they could. I had to LITERALLY ring the airport and speak to the staff there to find out if my luggage was there, and then ask them to send it to my home address, after we returned from our holiday. Qantas gave me $300 as a compensation after. They would not refund the money we spent to buy our essentials for not having our luggage the whole trip. How bad!
Second issue was a CONFIRMED flight for my mom, for which no itinerary was sent. A week before the flight, Qantas said all sorted and they were sending the itinerary to my email. Few days before, no email so I rang again. This time, they said the booking was NOT confirmed. I had to painfully cancel the flight.
Never fly with this airline. It is definitely one of the worst!
