gr8 flight on time good friendly staff.perfect timing very smooth boarding indeed - all well on board during flight.

when we first booked this holiday it was months ago and as usual we pre-booked and paid for our seats, we always pick 2 aisle seats but this time because the front row was free we booked the front row and paid for them, It wasn't until a few weeks prior to our actual holiday date when Jet 2 e mailed us with our tickets we noticed that they had changed our seats without our knowledge. My husband rang to ask about this for them to tell us that they had taken our seats away from us and given us 2 other seats instead, 1aisle and 1 middle, on both outgoing and return fights. He explained that we had paid for those front seats and we had the print out for them showing this but according to them because the plane was going to be different and at the time of our booking the front row had not been classed as "extra leg room" they had taken our seats to give to other passengers who had paid for that extra leg room, to say we were furious is putting it mildly, very mildy. They had not informed us of any of this or even given us the chance to pay the extra money if there was some and if i had not noticed to seat numbers on the tickets we would have not known until we had boarded the plane, we purposly booked the front row because i have a bad knee and need to use a stick and i have to keep my leg out straight as much as possible, but did they care, no they didn't. My husband managed to change those seats they gave us to aisle seats but it still left me in a lot of pain because i couldn't keep my leg out, i tried to but with people walking up and down the aisle it was very difficult, by the time we arrived at Las Palmas and Stanstead on our return i was in absolute agony, i struggled to walk. What added insult to injury was the way they lied, they told my husband that those that had booked extra leg room were entitled to our seats and there was nothing we could do about it, those seats were given to those that had paid that extra money for them, well, if that was the case why was it that the passenger that was sitting in my original front row seat complained to other passengers, me included that she didn't even want the front row, she didn't ask for it but it was the only seat available, expalin that Jet 2, but they wont, they haven't got the decency to respond to complaints and i should know because when we first came across this problem i wrote to the head of Jet 2 and that person has NOT even had the decency to reply to my letter, If the stealing of seats wasn't enough to complain about then maybe they would like to explain why, when a gentleman with polio fell in the aisle on our return flight did NOT 1 MEMBER OF JET 2 STAFF GO AND ASSIST him, not 1 crew member bothered to try and help, it was left to 2 ladies to get him up with the help of himself and his wife. 1 lady helped him partly stand whilst another lady let him sit on her lap until he got himslef steady enough to stand, then he managed to get up with their help, not the help of the crew. I thought this was advertised as being the best airline but it just proves that they are showing their true colours, you may get that kind of treatment from other airlines but you don't expect in from Jet 2, according to themselves anyway!!! would we use this airline again. i very much doubt it, we'd rather pay more for the likes of British Airways and get the service we expect than pay a little less for a very poor service where their CEO doesn't even have the decency to respond to a complaint

Travelled with jet 2 for the first time was seven us all together which one used a wheelchair. They was very friendly and helpful. Including sorting assistance out for son who has wheelchair

We have flown with Jet2 a few times and they are always essentially what you pay for - no frills but get the job done. The plane was clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful which is good when travelling with an infant. Our return flight the captain was one of the most polite I've met and kept us well informed with the situation as planes were being staggered due to the bad weather in Manchester. All in all a good flight and just what you pay for really.

We normally fly to Cyprus once or twice a year and normally use TUI or Ryanair but when we searched for flights Jet 2 came up with the best price.
The check in at Stansred was organised and service was friendly, the flight was good, seats spacious and comfy and the same experience on the return flight. The only let down on the return flight was the coldness on the plane and the lukewarm tea, otherwise a great choice. Will definitely be using Jet 2 agan
