Delay of 6 hours due to poor management. Constant lying when asked for explanation. No compensation for missed connection and extreme delay. This has been happening more often than not with indigo. They told us register complaint so we served better next time. At least 100 people on the flight wrote to indigo. I don’t think they’ve even opened the complaint box as airline still hasn’t owned up to its mistakes nor done anything to rectify it.
Purchased additional 75kg additional baggage weight. 3 travellers checked in 120kg. The check in girl at Indore airport wanted to charge for extra 2 kg as we were 1.8kg over. Is the weighing machine at the airport really so accurate that Indigo can say with confidence that there is no room for variation nor error of 1.8kg when weighing 120kg!!! This is not the first time this has happened as we regularly fly internationally and purchase additional baggage. Are the airport staff paid commission to charge customers a penalty? On top of it, unacceptable to speak so arrogantly to customers.
I had been hearing about Indigo service degrading but after the experience I’ve had in my recent travel from Mumbai to Bangkok, I’m never going to pick Indigo even if it’s the cheapest option. The service was poor even from a domestic flying perspective, nevermind the fact that it was an international flight. We had to wait hours to even receive water and the attendants purposely acted as if they could not see us trying to call them. Not expected from Indigo.
Indigo airlines Experience:
Indigo identifies with India on the Go ... As per our understanding.
It's definitely one of the finest airlines and stood the test of time even during COVID. We have great regards for it's consistency and punctuality.
We were on the service 6E518 Dehradun to Chennai. It's a humble request to the flight management and aviation of India to be more empathetic towards wheel chair passengers. Especially cabin wheel chair.
Kindly Reserve Seats for the needful and rightful holders. A disabled needs to use lavatory in flight, if seated way behind it's obvious a further challenge for the crew and the passenger.
There can be many more unprecedented flight conditions where if a physically challenged person if pushed in the back rows can result in no safety for them.
We urge the authorities of India and Indigo to have some mindfulness , by not selling all the front seats.
The moment we try booking as wheelchair passenger we loose the ability to pay and select .Pregnant and wheelchair passengers , infants worldwide are given priority.
Infact indigo buses have that reserved seats for handicapped.
We kindly appeal and request IndiGo Airlines to bring this change as they are pioneers for a lot new ideas in the field of aviation. ndigo airlines has redefined flying .
Their motto also of giving respects to the jawans and soldiers is highly appreciated.
Hoping that someone up there in management reads every mail and we don't feel knocking on an empty door.
We want that the mindset should be to make your environment inclusive and not overlook callously the needs of wheelchair, medically ill, senior pregnant passengers.
Hoping that we get a response not a reaction. 🙏
We hope for some change in the system
