We have used Eurowings in the past and have been impressed with their service. However during this flight I was quite dissatisfied by their service.
As frequent flyers we felt pretty confident we were sat waiting at our gate. The board had told us this gate number and also our ticket. The only problem being while at this gate there was no information board to be seen. We sat patiently waiting. There were other people sat with us all waiting too. Time ticked on. There was then a ‘final call’ for our flight on the other side of the terminal. Thankfully we made it. It was just disappointing we were not given an announcement earlier. We hadn’t received texts or emails (I have received those in the past). I just felt we had unnecessary stress for what turned out to be a pleasant flight.
There was a good selection of reasonably priced snacks and drinks, the staff were friendly and helpful. The flight was around the planned time.
