We sat on our seats, aisle and next seat and prepared ourselves for our flight to Brisbane from Abu Dhabi. A male came along who had been allocated the window seat and demanded we swap seats because he had long legs and would be too cramped. We were a bit shocked and complied and regretted the move. We usually get up and move around during the flight however this time we both ended up with swollen feet. Next time we will get the steward to sort out the issue - lesson learnt! Aside from this the flight was great, and the staff were super helpful.

My flight to Bangkok from Geneva thru Abu Dhabi was a good one. However on landing at BKK, my baggage had been damaged. I filed a baggage claim report, but the responses received from Iyad Okasha were anything but unhelpful. He demanded a quote from shops to repair the bag, and an original receipt of purchase of the bag or a bank statement.
Really? Why would one store these kind of receipts? Moreover the shops are not interested in providing quotes to clients where the cost of repairing is more than that of a new bag. We don't expect airlines to crack hard bags while transporting them. He is offering a paltry amount of USD 50. Where in the world you can buy a medium size bag for that amount and that too in Switzerland? Its not the money we are interested in, the least they can do is provide a voucher to get a bag replacement. However there seems to be no access to the Senior management, while they hide behind the fine print of rules and regulations. This atrocious ground handling leaves us with second thoughts on flying Etihad, and for no fault of the actual flight, which was enjoyable. Such a shame!!! In case someone in the management wants to see the facts, the reference number is RQID:753161 and the report is under the reference DPR BKKEY56706.

I am aware that the baggage team have strict guidelines for providing compensation in the event of damage. Please get back to your case officer for a further review. May I also suggest checking with your insurance provider. The baggage claims team can assist with a letter to be submitted if required. On a positive note, I'm glad you enjoyed your flight with us and hope you reconsider your decision. *Vio

Food was terrible,my ,Ii already sighn up for veg meal but I didn’t get vegetarian but they don’t have veg food even no substitute at all, service was sooo bad too,my experience is sooo bad to travel with etihaad

I boarded EY203 on 14/1/20 at 21.00 hrs at Mumbai, was deplaned due to technical glitch after 5 hours of sitting in the plane with no air conditioning, took an hour to get bus for terminal, extra 90 m for baggage, after lots of arguments with ground crew unwilling to provide any hotel for sleep, some passengers got hotel stay at 5,30 am morning, I went home, flight rescheduled on 15th at 14.30 was postponed again to 16.30, we had missed connecting flight on 15/1/20. Rebooking was provided on 16/1/20 from Abu Dhabi to Dusseldorf with only lounge area sitting access as compensation. I missed my scheduled work meetings. Need compensation for this harrowing experience.

Absolutely diabolical. Lost our luggage on a flight out to Sydney from Manchester and have not had any contact from the lost luggage department at Etihad despite trying to contact them multiple times via email and telephone. I accept that unforeseen things can happen but the company are not dealing with our complaint and as I have read on social media we are not the only ones to experience this poor service. This is the first and last time we will fly with Etihad
