Review of Etihad Airways

I flew on Saturday 4th August, easy check in with Etihad but Manchester Airport Security check was a joke with the staff rowing with each other and were removed by their manager.
Flight was on time and very comfortable in economy. Staff were really nice and drinks were plentiful. The only issue was the food which was pretty bad from Manchester to Abu Dhabi but from there to Perth the food was even worse, they said it was chicken pie, it was weak mashed potatoes with very small pieces of chicken and veg hidden inside, no taste at all.
Flight cost £1,100 you would think they could spend more than a fiver on the food. Having said that I would fly with them again as I don’t think the food is any better on the other carriers.

Etihad has reasonable prices and new aircraft. However, the flight attendants have a little attitude. In my specific flight, if you asked for something, it seemed the flight attendants don't like to be asked. They will give you attitudes. On the good note, they have a good entertainment system.

Flew recently with Etihad for the first (and probably) last time.

4 flights, 4 delays. 4 hours on the plane in Abu Dhabi, 6 Hours on plane on Changi. Flight cancelled and rescheduled for next day.

The rescheduled flight was delayed by 3 hours.

Quite poor.

They did accommodate in good hotel with breakfast and lunch covered, but loosing 2 days work because of the delays is unacceptable.

Etihad airways are one of the modern and most comfortable airline in the world. Its no the badest idea, to book a flight with their.

As a regular traveler to the UK my family and I choose Etihad for this trip. Prices and times were great. Service on board was good, staff very friendly and helpful but the seats were SO uncomfortable. 21 hours in a seat that makes you lower back ache is a long trip. Buy the time we got to UK we were all suffering with back pain. Tried to change seat allocation on return fight for 2 passengers but the only way this was possible was to pay £113.40 ($184.00) for the privilege. No thanks. We won’t be using Etihad again.
