You can always rely on Emirates to come up trumps. Great service and friendly and helpful cabin crew. Food isnt too bad in cattle class, but I have to say that I dont like the new tactic of having to pay for seat reservations, how very Ryanair.

once again the airline failed to meet the expectations expected of its service.... requests fall on deaf ear on cabin crew ..... good thing was its punctuality and prompt baggage arrivals

Well this was a game changer! :-)
I had been dreading the long flight from London to Bangkok.
I try to avoid longer flights if at all possible.
Our trip on Emirates has changed my mind.
Everything went smoothly from the chauffeur pick-up though the entire flight.
The flight crew, cabin design and service were impeccable.
There is no comparison whatever with British Airways. Emirates was streets better.
The experience actually rekindled an interest in long haul travel for us.

My son had a connecting flight from Dubai to Bangkok on 11January 2020, which was delayed by over 8 hours. No updates as to what was going on. He’s just been told he’s not entitled to any compensation. Presumably that’s the same for everyone on the same flight. How disgraceful is that?!!

I had the unfortunate chance to have purchased a ticket from Muscat to Dubai. Suffice to say the experience and handling of the cancellation of the flight was a complete and utter disaster. Our flight was scheduled at 710 pm, we were informed of cancellation of the flight at 10 pm and supposed overnight stay. The organization to get out of the airport, arrange transportation and hotel stay was a nightmare. No emirates staff was present for most of the process, and those that were didnt have a proper idea on how to handle the situation. The next day, Emirates had told us they would arrange transport to the airport but that didnt have. Everyone had to pay their own taxis with some people looking for atms as they didnt have cash. What an embarrassment for an airline that considers itself a leading airline in the world.
