Plane was nice and new, with good legroom, but space for overhead bins was small. They stopped serving drinks and snacks 30 minutes before landing due to turbulence, which was ok , but a bit disappointing. Still a good flight overall.

We flew from Milwaukee to Montreal with a connection in Detroit. The Milwaukee to Detroit flight was somewhat late but OK. The Detroit to Montreal flight was supposed to leave at 8:20 PM. After a long walk in the Detroit airport, we arrived at the gate.The plane for Montreal was at the gate. We learned immediately at the gate that the flight is delayed by 2 hours. The pilot who was at the desk explained to us a little later that he is ordered not fly that plane to Montreal but to Elmira, New York State, and then fly back from Elmira and then fly to Montreal. There was a change of gate. We had to walk the long same distance to the new gate. There, the agents informed us of a longer delay and told other passengers that the delay was due to weather condition in Montreal. We contested strongly the veracity of the fact since we knew from the pilot himself why the flight was delayed. Finally we took off at 2:30 AM, 6 hours after the scheduled time. We told the agents that we were expecting a compensation. They gave us little hope, sticking to the official story: a delay due to weather. This is such an awful way to treat customers.

I tend to have good to very good experiences with Delta. Although, unbeknownst to me, my flight had been changed to one about an hour earlier than booked and I had not been assigned a seat with that change, I called Delta's 800 number and was given an exit row seat without any upcharge, and was able to board just after the Priority group. The flight crew was friendly, they gave out more snacks than usually (and sadly) expected, and the gate attendant was equally helpful.

The flight attendants were friendly and pleasant and the flight was wonderful! We arrived back home a half hour ahead of schedule which was great! The only downside is that we paid more for comfort class for 3 inches more legroom...so silly they even have this option but it's totally worth it. Here's a concept Delta...how about making the entire main cabin more comfortable by providing more legroom like it used to be and not charge additional $ for 3 inches of more space and call it comfort class. SMH!

The wait to check baggage at the Cancun airport was a longer than we expected. We were at the airport at about 11am and found it fairly busy. Unfortunately only three agents were working the Delta Counter with one working the Sky Priority counter. Not very satisfied with how long we had to wait.

The Delta gate agents were pleasant however the public address system was extremely difficult to hear even when standing 20 feet from the gate desk.

The flight was great and we arrived prior to our scheduled arrival time. The flight attendants were attentive. The leg room was very nice in the Delta Comfort seats however the side-to-side room seemed to be the same size as in regular Economy seating. In-flight entertainment was fantastic.
