Check in easy at SDQ no line in business class, Aerodom the operator fails miserably by not controlling the flow of passengers through security, one line open with 2 entrances and no coordination 45 minutes to get through and no air conditioning.
when through Immigration no problem, Copa lounge empty comfortable, flight about 10 minutes late departing and late arriving due to lack of gate in PTY, am glad i have 5 hour layover last time it was pressure for 1 hour transit, flight itself very good crew professional, nice snack offered, arrival into transit made mistake of going to Copa club, where i am logged on more of cattle market lets the PTY experience down, you need to try harder on your facilities

Flew round trip Boston to Costa Rica with a stopover in Panama City both ways. Good trips. One of the trips (return to Boston) was a bit crowded, and I was very thankful for my noise canceling earphones. On the way down, my bf had 2 rum/cokes and they poured very heavy on the rum! (And, didn't charge!).

Airplane offered free in-flight movies, which is always nice.

When I got my luggage back, it was heavily torn in 2 places.

Friendly and affordable travel. They provide food on board whether its breakfast. lunch or dinner, On-time flights, in fact some flights were ahead of schedule which makes arrival time early. The stop-over time, though convenient at times sometimes can be annoying, especially if you speak only English.

When we were flying from Panama City, Tocumen International Airpirt, back to San Francisco, we had to go through security twice. Didn’t mind that but DID mind that the fresh water bottle that I had JUST bought in the shop right across from the 2nd security check (into the waiting area for the boarding gate) had to be discarded! That meant that you could not bring ANY drinks with you onto the plane. Once on the plane, you had to constantly request water to get enough to drink as they only give you small cups full. This felt like an imposition for the poor flight attendants who were busy doing other things.

What’s up with that? If they aren’t going to let you bring drinks in through the second security check, they should at least have a vending machine in the waiting area.

Their service was great. The only hiccup we experience was that no crew member spoke English on the flight to Mexico. When we stopped of at Panama to take other flight to Mexico the staff changed therefore no crew member spoke English as I needed help with the Mexican declaration form. Thankfully for the Google translator camera which translated what I had difficulty with. Otherwise the service was great.
