The airline needs to improve its hiring process. How can such a big airline hire staff who are so unprofessional and disrespectful to customers? One particular staff member was extremely arrogant and lacked basic customer service skills. She made an error by allowing two checked bags, then started shouting and behaving rudely in front of other staff and customers, insisting only one checked bag was allowed. She refused to acknowledge her mistake. This made for a very bad experience at check-in. She was working at counter number 26, asking for money from all might be some percentage she'll get. If no immediate action is taken, I’ll be leaving reviews on Google and other platforms, and she must be blacklisted from airline industry, the rest of the cabin crew inside the plain provided fantastic service and were polite and well-mannered.

Terrible airline! They cancelled my flight without telling me! They even emailed me online checkin options for my flight only to find out my ticket has been cancelled and they wanted me to buy a new one! I did not get a refund for my ticket so i bascially paid twice! Their staff in the airpprt did not even bother to help me and just asked me to call long dostance for customer service! They are no longer a premium airline even the food portions has become so small and they dont even have options

I have One World Sapphire status. Not only was I not able to select my seat online (without paying because they were not registering my status), but they put me in a seat that did not recline. When the person in front of me reclined, the TV was in my face. Horrible experience for 15 hour flight.

My review is very specific to the Cathay Pacific ground staff at Schipol Airport, who were very extraordinary and creative in the way they tried to solve our issue, specifically Joel whose surname I didn't get to find out. My wife's ticket was categorised as a 'staff ticket' whilst mine was regular. The flight was full with about six other Stand-Bys. We have a Qantas flight back to Sydney to get to in Hong Kong after landing so it was paramount we get there in the next 24 hours. Without promises nor treating us any more special than others, Joel advised of other routes we could take; via Zurich, via Guangzhou, via London and those available from other airlines. Fortuitously I could not purchase tickets on any of the options so he advised us to take a chance and hope for no-shows. Two hours on the edge was rewarded with two seats on the plane at the very last second! Not only that, he managed to have us seated close enough to each other that I can hold the wife's hand who's a nervous flyer. Joel, your name and face is forever etched in our memories and we have since developed a fondness and a sense of loyalty to Cathay Pacific. Thanks to you and your team for getting us on our way safely home. You are an outstanding representative of Cathay Pacific, of the industry and of Amsterdam. I hope one day you get the flowers you deserve.

Been trying to book a multi city flight for days now and every time I get to the final stages of choosing seats, I get the same error message. Wasted so much time changing the dates etc. Their website is absolute rubbish. Contacted customer services by phone and on watts app and they couldn't help. The trip seems to have gone up by £1000 in the meantime. I'm so annoyed at the amount of time I've wasted - literally 6 hours trying to book. The fare I wanted is till showing in Skyscanner, booking.com etc but when you come to try to book you get an error message every time
