Travelled CX 710 on a fairly full load A350-900.

Last travelled CX in 2015.

Plane was new, USB port in my seat could not be used to charge phone throughout the flight.

Luckily no one was sitting beside me and I could use the USB port to charge my phone in the seat beside me.

Food was average. Icecream was not available due to AM flight.

Crew presence was not existent. Only 1 drink service was done with meal service.

Premeal service (with nuts) was not done anymore.

PTV had good selection of 🎬.

Toilet was dirty, sink was chocked. Informed crew and did minimal cleaning.

I booked CP specifically because they are part of the OneWorld Alliance with American Airlines. After the flight, when my miles didn't post, I was informed it was the wrong fare code. Turns out CP has 21 fare codes, and eight are not eligible for frequent flyer miles. I have flown millions of miles, mostly on American over the past 30 years, and have never known what the fare code even was. I felt duped. Economy seats way too small anyway. I won't be flying with them in the future if at all possible.

I chose the premium economy (PE) ticket as it gave more luggage but the added comfort of a better quality seat and leg room, for a very tall man was worth it on this 12 hour flight. I definitely recommend CX for the pe service. The staff were excellent all during the flight, food was hot and tasty, great options of drinks.

The seat itself, 33C on this flight 238 from LHR to HKG on an A350, was spot on- ample leg room, and being the last seat in the PE cabin, I had a wall behind me offering no one bumping my seat! The screen and media options excellent too.

Note: in this PE cabin all seats have the tray table in the arm rest.

We flew economy with Cathay Pacific from London Heathrow to Phuket via Hong Kong on 25 Apr 24. The staff, service and onboard facilities were outstanding throughout. Everyone was friendly and attentive, food good and drinks free flowing. Seat space was very good and comfortable. The return journey on the 14th May 24 was ok, it was a full flight, which impacted slightly on service and the feel. Food was OK, but bored with the same choice of chicken or pork on the 4 separate flights! Would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.

Boarded aircraft after 45 min delay with no announcement as to why. Then sat in the aircraft for another 3 hours with no announcement until more passenger were boarding. Ourser then announce the delay is due to CX waiting for a connecting flight and connecting baggage. I cant recall any occasion where a connected flight waited 3 hours for me and my luggage. Another instance where Cathay fails in customer appreciation. Upn return, I receive multiple messages about my miles expiring in 6 month. 15 days after my flight, the miles credit for my may 1 flight still hasn't been updated. Cathay;s direct flight to HKG is the only advantage. Everything else is POOR! If you enjoy sitting through delays with no announcements or genuine apology then fly Cathay. Many other options available.
