“Noisiest First Class lounge on the planet”
Review of British Airways

Reviewed 4 weeks ago via mobile

Quite underwhelmed by the BA first class lounge experience. We were waiting for a flight from Heathrow to New York. Decided to eat breakfast.
Firstly, the servers don't ask you for options (how would you like your egg, bacon or sausage etc)... so you're stuck with how they envision your breakfast choices. After your food is unceremoniously delivered to your table, you ask for all the sides listed in the menu with your dish, and it takes aaagges to come and your food is cold.
Secondly, I have never encountered such a noisy kitchen. People yelling at the top of their lungs, the captain screaming at the staff because "there are loads of hungry bloody passengers out there!"
I'm quite surprised by this low quality experience in what should be the flagship lounge of this airline.

BA couldn’t have done a better job, from a really quick easy and friendly check in, through an extremely comfortable flight to London, a simple transit and a comfortable on time flight to Glasgow with personable service. Hats off to BA

BA/One World has always been my choice of airline. Never any real delays until the flight from SFO to LHR on Saturday 15 September. Scheduled departure 16.30. Actual departure 12.30am. Reason given technical faults worked on for 3 hours before replacement aircraft sent. Its a pity that the departure staff are not informative enough to keep the passengers up to speed and to avoid arriving at SFO too early. Despite this delay the flight to LHR was safe and I will still fly BA/One World as my first choice

Clean flights, on time, superb service. If there is one area that I would want to nitpick and find fault about, it would be that of the choice of meals on the EWR - LHR segment (the return leg of my trip): the airlines ran out of non-vegetarian meals, and forced travelers to partake vegetarian meals (where the Indian bread was absolutely disgusting).
Note: all baggage arrived, safe and without damage, on both legs of the journey!
