Throughout the flight, our cabin crew has been very well looked after and the pilots have chosen such a height and velocity to keep us away from it and arrive in time.

We flew on Air Austria from Tel Aviv to Vienna with the intention of connecting with a flight to Chicago. When we arrived, our Chicago flight was cancelled because of a blizzard. I was the group leader of 34 university students. Up to this point, Air Austria was no different than any other air line I've flown. There were 34 people I needed to care for. Air Austria provided lodging at a fine hotel near the city center along with two meals and shuttle service. Even at the airport, where we had an extensive wait, the airline provided breakfast at restaurants. Our students had an outstanding experience in Vienna under a very difficult situation. We are grateful for the customer service of Air Austria.

We actually paid more for premium economy and our luggage was tagged 'Priority'? but on arrival at Newark Airport found our suitcase damaged (squashed) beyond repair. it was reported and inspected by Services staff at Newark who advised us to buy a replacement suitcase and entered a claim for damage. Now almost a month later we are still waiting for reimbursement of the replacement cost. After several to and fro emails requesting refund of costs for replacement suitcase, the airline has finally offered a voucher to use on a future flight with them but this was a once in a lifetime holiday for us so the voucher is useless. This all follows on from many attempts to upgrade to business class online, by phone and in person at the airport only to be repeatedly told "sorry we are not able to do this" - we couldn't even give them more money for our flight!! In total we had 9 international flights and 3 domestic flights with various airlines around the world during our holiday and the only problems we had was with Austrian Airlines. So now we are left with terrible memories of our flight and cannot recommend Austrian Airlines to anyone.

Booked Austrian Air for my flight home from Sofia. It was a long day to Chicago, and then a United flight home from Denver. The service was fine, food and the space. Nothing extravagant but it got the job done.

Flying Austrian Airways always means poor food - if any -, smiling but slightly snobbish airhostesses wh , unfortunately, speak very poor English.
One of them treated the passenger next to me in an absolutely condescending manner that was definitely completely out of place.
As there was NO inflight entertainment I cannot very well judge it.
