I have been on a number of budget flights for travel and American Airlines has consistent prices and decent service but I feel like every time I fly with them there is always more turbulence than other airlines. And while it could just be the weather when I fly but it seems pretty consistent.

The flight crew was really great on this flight. They all seemed to be looking out for the comfort and safety of the passengers. They were cheerful and helpful.
The flight itself was good, with only about half an hour to an hour of time where the seatbelt sign had to be on because of mild turbulence.
I didn't use the inflight entertainment because I'd downloaded Netflix to my tablet, but it seemed there were many options.
The food was OK - I have food allergies so had a special meal and it was fine. (Airplane food is never great.)
The bathrooms were clean. The plane was clean. The seats were clean. There were plenty of pillows and blankets to go around.

Hey, we took off and we landed, what more do you want? Planes are pretty much not comfortable. That's a fact. Pleasant staff and no delays.

This flight was good; my only complaint is that the flight attendants were rude to some of the passengers.

We are used to getting to the airport 30 mins before a flight and getting to the gate with time to spare. This time we had to check a bag so figured we'd better get there an hour before, which we did, not realizing that taking the new shuttle between economy parking and the terminal was going to be as long as it was (about 20 mins from car to where we check bags). So we get to the area to check our bag and were told that we cannot check our bag for our flight because we were too late. Evidently, bag check-in cut off is 45 mins before flight time and we arrived only 40 mins prior. Since you have to be on the same flight as your bags, we had to change our confirmed flights to get on standby for both legs of our itinerary thru Dallas then to Detroit. Long story short, we were numbers 1&2 on the standby list for the last 2 seats on the first flight and were also able to get on the 2nd flight to Detroit. Our thanks to the ticket agent for quickly getting us on the standby list in the first and second positions for the Dallas flight, otherwise we would have missed that flight as well. We got to Detroit 3 hrs later than planned but it all worked out.
