We were delayed. The information provided by the on-ground CSR's was contradictory and wrong. The delay was blamed on ATC and too much traffic in the area. It was funny to stand and watch the CSR's inform us that the boarding would begin at a specific time, even though that time had passed. Once on board, we were held on the ground a lengthy period of time. Again, the airline blamed ATC. After take-off, were informed there was no in-flight beverage service due to the short duration of the flight. Come on Alaska/Horizon, even on the short inter-island flights Hawaiian Air provides water or juice. Overall, the primary objective was served.
