Bid for the upgrade from PE to Business and was accepted 5 days before the flight. Excellent service and food but the layout of the Business Premier cabin has everyone seated with their backs to the windows and feet pointing towards the aisle. You see a lot of your fellow passengers feet and the tops of heads when sitting in the upright position for take off and landing. Your personal space feels a little squashed in although the seat width is generous. The lay flat bed is very comfortable but the seat doesn't recline into the bed position automatically. You need to ask one of the cabin crew to help which they do with a smile and very efficiently.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would upgrade again but the cabin layout doesn't compare to Emirates or Singapore Airlines Business cabins which is a shame because the service is far better than either of them.
