“A Dream flight on a dreamliner”

it was our first time flying Air New Zealand and we had been told by friends that Business Class was very good.. As it turned out it was excellent form the lounge to the flight and service and comfort
We flew from Brisbane to Auckland on a 777 in Business and that was excellent also for a short flight and had a few hours in Auckland where we visited the ANZ lounge which has to be one of the best Business Lounges in Asia Pacific. It is spacious and very comfortable with an excellent food and beverage offering. On boarding our flight which was a 787-9 Dreamliner we were warmly welcomed by the friendly crew and after take off had an excellent food service . When it was time to sleep the crew prepared our flat beds which were the most comfortable I have slept on. It had a mattress and 2 good size pillows and a very comfortable quilt which gave my wife and I one of the best sleeps we have ever had on a flight. Breakfast was served pre landing and again was excellent and an on time landing even better.. As a seasoned traveller in Asia Pacific , Air New Zealand reached levels that were beyond Singapore and Cathay Business classes and I look forward to using the airline again for another holiday

The Space seats were so comfortable with heaps of legroom. I am disappointed that these may be axed soon for the normal seats.
The staff cannot do enough for you and are so friendly. We have travelled with a lot of different airlines but I think they are the best. The food and wine were excellent and served nicely. They also have a great system of Airpoints and offer a bidding system for upgrades. We were able to upgrade to Business for the trip home which just finished our holiday beautifully and not at an outrageous cost.
I hope to use them again and highly recommend Air NZ.

Recently we flew to Norfolk Island but my wife was on crutches following knee surgery and could not walk very far. This occurred after we had already booked but we decided to go anyway. Contacted the Airline to advise of the change in our circumstances and requested wheel chair assistance and was overwhelmed by the care and attention she got at the airport by the staff. On her return again the same care and compassion was given with her seating arrangements etc.

It was a pleasure to fly with Air New Zealand! Very friendly and helpfull ground and cabin staff, comfortable seats, great entertainment service on board, good meal and proffesional service. Best Airline!!

We really could not fault the service or the Staff. In fact the staff really went the extra mile on both flights. Nothing was two much trouble including extra drinks ( ordered though your personal screen ) right down to knowing your names from the moment you boarded the plane.
