Flight was delayed due to late arrival CT, therefore late take off by 60 mins. Connecting flight from Windhoek to Accra also delayed by about another 60 mins. Ground staff not up to assisting, either through lack of training or couldn't be bothered.
The actual flying experience was fine and the cabin staff on both flights helpful and friendly.

The Flight was fine and the snacks were decent but please Mrs Airhostess, if I am transgressing with my earpods, it's always better to ask politely rather than glaring at me like an angry madam.
As for the Hosea Kutako Airport...
Unfortunately my flight was the last of 3 to arrive at the same time so i had to stand in a queue for a ridiculously extended period of time. The arrivals hall was cramped and hot with seemingly no air conditioning. There was also no wifi reception in the area so we could not communicate with those who were waiting in the arrivals hall. It doesn’t take much for airport management to try and speed things up by opening up one or two more counters. The restaurant inside is overpriced and the food is not great. The restaurant staff also try to sell you an expensive wifi voucher when you can just go to the info desk and get it for free. Checking in to leave was also a frustrating experience and the finally the gate we used to leave, bound for Cape Town, was marked Johannesburg. There were however 2 rays of light that deserve mentioning. The guys at the MTC desk were very helpful and competent at getting our cellphones onto the local network, very reasonable! The other is the little sandwich bar outside, great snacks and very good coffee run by a cool family.

To be told on board of the Embraer, that we do not have toilets to use, not to be able to serve any hot drinks in an early morning flight, that is surely not the lifting the moods when placed into this small aircraft.
The white none branded Aircraft, left a very last minute decision expression.
Positive was the rather short flying time.

VERY happy to announce: great leg space; piping hot and tasty food (a first ever) ... and sparkling wine to cool it down ... Very friendly and helpful staff ... A really pleasant experience ... What more do you want? [The arrival area in Walvis Bay is a story for another day ...]

What used to be a nice comfortable flight in a small Airbus, has by now become a rather challenging short hop in an Embraer.
One needs to be advised that you can't take more than your handbag or computer bag on board, due to the limited size of overhead storage.
As this trip is really short, the discomfort is short lived and I am glad to be a rather short person with 172cm still fitting into smaller places....
