I was upgraded in business class for this flight and the biggest difference for intra-Europe flight is the food! Real lunch instead of a bag of salty crackers.
Staff is showing care and is keeping a good level of standards. Young summer staff are a bit behind on that...
Main drawback of AirFrance is the connection with Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris. Among the worst...
AirFrance is trying to keep its rank but the value for money is slightly decreasing with less service and higher prices.

My husband and I had a lovely experience flying with Air France from Montreal to Paris July 19 2017.
If flying regular economy, I'd advise you to book your seats ahead. They use a 777 aircraft and the economy class seating configuration is three four three. We paid extra to have the "duo sets" which meant that there are only two seats in those selected rows. We didn't mind that these rows were located in the back of the aircraft.
The service was great and the food was better than the fare one usually gets these days on international flights.
We look forward to flying with Air France again! Bon Voyage!

I am a frequent traveler from JNB to CDG.
Talking about value for money, quality of service, safety, efficiency and comfort, you will not get me flying with another airline on this route.
Nice crew and "France is in the air" is a well applied concept

Air France made air travel a real treat in Business Class. They truly offer first class treatment and the food and wine was amazing.

The fight and the flight attendants were amazing, but the check in process was not seamless...Overcrowded and not assistants at all.
