Air Arabia took as back and forth from Sharjah to Muscat. Short flight was fine, on time, good service. Price was modest with low-price amenities. We live in Sharjah and prefer the easy access to SHJ airport, in and out, as opposed to DXB, big airport with long lines and hallways.

A few days earlier we had flown Ryanair - an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions. Never again. So we were wary of another low cost airline. But, Air Arabia was the polar opposite. Our pleasurable experience included:
1 - Ease of check in,
2 - Courteous staff treating us with respect and consideration,
3 - Professional, organized boarding process,
4 - Clean aircraft,
5 - Attentive, helpful on board staff
6 - Being on time - Departing and arriving when they said they would..

What a difference!! It IS possible you can be a LOW Cost, HIGH service oriented carrier. We, after all are paying the freight...

To be fair the aircraft is good, however their services are by far the worst I've seen. The check in counter (even when I went from AMM to SAW) takes ages to process passengers' boarding passes and luggage. In the craft even water needs to be bought, no pillows, no blankets ... Nothing. Flight was delayed from AMM to SAW. Staff are unprofessional and don't have any customer service orientation. It's like you're being punished for flying with a cheap airline ticket. I don't recommend at all!

Marrakech to Fes & return. Check in was easy and efficient, although you definately don't need to be there 2 hours prior for a 45 minute domestic flight. Lots of security checks. Flights offer coffee, tea, snacks at a price - most people didn't use that facility. On my return from Fes, I requested a window seat, she said yes, but was given an isle seat instead - that's poor service. Rows 1 & 2 ahead were empty - on asking if I could move, she said, "no stay where you are" ... she was rude and dismissive to my needs - poor service again.

The worst airline in the world it doesn't serve you food and the flight attendants have no use in the flight.
