Flight back to Lyon in the afternoon, passed quickly trough controls, a drink and a snack on the flight, correct space and confortable seats.
Gate was announced only 5 minutes before tasking off trying to make you buy something in the shops

I like This low cost airline belonging to Air France because it provides a good service and is cheap. They give student and pensioner discounts!

Low cost airlines often fill me with dread, however, HOP seems to be on the more upmarket side of low cost and also with a nice fleet of small regional aircraft. A flight between European cities is hardly a swash buckling adventure - more a normality today, but this was painless and I found the staff helpful, pleasant and friendly - unfortunately my return was with easyjet and not quite so agreeable... Why average - well I think that's what uneventful air travel is!

As a wheelchair user all worked very well at both airports and on the plane.

It has become a habit it seems for Hop! (or Air France since you can only book those flights on the Air France website) to cancel the Bologna to Lyon flights at the last minute. Today has been a customer experience nightmare, agravated by the fact there was a strike in France yesterday: the booking I had made was cancelled and I started calling at 0631 in the morning to have it rebooked, as per an email received and to a number dedicated to those issues, mind you. At 0631 I got a message telling me that someone would attend my call within 1 minute and guess what? I spent the next 3 hours (!) on two phones, being disconnected every 25 minutes or so without ever being able to speak to anyone. Any other airline anywhere in the world would have already gone out of business with such customer service.
