“A Limited Airline”
Review of Seaborne Airlines

Reviewed 18 April 2018

Getting to Nevis from San Juan had no hitches, But the return was less than desirable. Our original flight was changed, which meant that connecting flight had to be changed. Besides that, the days of the week Seaborne flew from Nevis to San Juan were changed, which caused further complication on rental arrangements. Further Seaborne said it would refund expenses we incurred for transportation from Nevis to St. Kitts where our flight back to San Juan was located. We have not heard a word or seen the refund.

For no weather or mechanical reasons, Seaborne flight from St Maarten was late, causing many on the flight to miss their Delta connection in San Juan. Passengers were forced to stay overnight at the airport hotel. The Seaborne agents were poorly trained, unable to do the job. People stood around and talked instead of working. Transfer to/from planes was painfully slow. Staff had repetitive trouble rebooking flights and giving hotel vouchers. Avoid this airline — a codeshare partner with Delta. Delta bears responsibility for the poorness of this partner.

Even though this is a small plane, very pleasant to fly. Detailed every safety item well. I don't love the terminal area for Seaborne in Puerto Rico - no AC & very damp-smelling

A 4 and a half hour delay on departure with no explanation, a 1 hour delay on return trip even after being told it was on schedule and then a scary rough rattletrap landing will never fly with them again.

The flight was delayed by over an hour and no one told us anything! We almost didn't make our connecting flight to NYC and no one seemed concerned or aware. We will NEVER fly seaborne airlines with the exception of the seaplane from STX to Saint Thomas.
