the treatment on air is as usual very good. My objection is on what happens to the ground. Latam people refuse to make announcements on flights, gates, priority etc in English. They do it only is Spanish. Even when you protest, they choose to ignore you and continue in English.

Got this flight as it was the cheapest going. I was very impressed, the plane appeared brand new! The inflight entertainment was great, with a large tv in the seat in front. No food/ alcohol for free, but that's a budget flight!

We had a few internal flights with Latam and have no complaints... Smaller planes means less room, however we weren't uncomfortable, the service was good.. Most of the pilot instructions were done in English and Spanish, and the crew had excellent English themselves... The food was good, albeit Spanish influenced, naturally.. Funnily, when the plane hits the tarmac on landing, All the passengers clap.... which was really nice, we have Never seen that before.. Anyway, we were very pleasantly surprised, I have done internal flights in Europe that were not up to this standard..

You should take special care and attention in the comfort of passengers, especially when the flight is more than 12 hours. Not only should you provide comfortable and spacious seats for those traveling in first class.
Nobody asks for a bed, but if something a little more suitable for such a long trip.

A journey of over 4 hours with economy seating only on an Airbus 320 meant it would be cramped. Entertainment was available if you had an iPad and relevent App. Food was available for purchase. However the entertainment failed and the food service stopped less than halfway into the journey. The reason being failure of the planes generators that in turn resulted in an emmergency landing.

While the emergency landing should not have been needed, LATAM did better than expected in recovering the situation. Imigration officials were found, an OK meal was provided and a replacement aircraft turned up within a few hours. Total time lost 8 hours that I am happy to lose in preference to taking safety risks.

The other good news for LATAM, is that after 7 flights within South America, we think they are the best of a bad bunch.
