We stopped at the IGA on the way in but Rams was on the way also. We stopped there today and preferred that. Either way the prices will knock you over!!!

There's a Ram's Grocery Store just a few hundred yards down the street from the Marriott. There's also 3 wine & liquor stores (Smoke & Booze, Cork & Bottle and Opus Wines) in the the same area.

The IGA ValuMart is a much larger grocery store but it's about a 10 minute drive from the Marriott.

In route from the airport to the hotel have the driver stop at 1 of the local grocery stores 1 popular 1 is the IGA, you can purchase alcohol there as well as groceries, remember these stores do carry American products because St Kitts has both a medical school and also a veterinary school so there are a lot of americans studying there

I'm not sure what you mean by "the prices will knock you over". Do you mean the prices are surprisingly high or low?

We found the prices to be very high at the small Ram's just down the street from the Marriott (walkable) Reminded me of convenience store prices. Not so much at the other Grocery stores we visited. I liked the Ram's farther away and the IGA. Honestly We did not think the prices were that bad compared to other Islands we visit. Naturally the popular "American" brands carry higher price tags as they are "imported". If You need Hellman's, Pringles ,Kellogg's, familiar frozen foods etc you will pay more. We enjoyed fresh fruit and produce and bought fresh fish from vendors which were reasonably priced and delicious. I always tuck some zip locs, foil, spices, coffee, some protein bars and mixed nuts in our bags when going to condos in the Islands. See no need to pay inflated prices for items that we already have and pack easily (and lightly). Marriott supplied laundry detergent and dish/dishwasher soaps as well as shampoo/conditioner/bath soaps of good quality.

Ram's near the Marriott is open from 10 am on Sundays. They have groceries, wines and spirits. Not as big a selection as the larger supermarkets though.
