Fjord1 bus to mt Dalsnibba

Again - anyone done this?

Did you pre book it or turn up?

where did you catch it?

How long was the round trip - say catching the next bus down

We prebooked but it wasn't necessary, same price, plenty of available seats. We picked up our tickets at their office, if you look at the website it has a map and directions although Geiranger is tiny so you can't miss it.

You don't catch the next bus down, the bus stops, you take photos, you get back on the bus. Unless there's something else to do up there that I'm not aware of, I'm guessing you will do the same. It also stops for a photo op at Flydalsjuvet where you can get off and take photos.

There is nothing up there except the view, so 10 min for photo and fresh air is ok.

To be on the safe side it is best to pre book your seat on the buss. Geiranger can be busy on days with 1-2 cruise ship. If you book your ticket on www.geirangerfjord.no you pay the same price as booking in there office but be garantie a seat.

If the availability coincide with the number of cruise passengers, better consult the calling list
