Weather in Norway

We are looking at cruising to the Norwegian fjords. Any recommendations a to when the weather is best, or worst? We would hate to be there and be rained in and see nothing.

Perhaps you can get an idea from the weather statistics:

Geiranger (Tafjord): http://tinyurl.com/88umlr6

Bergen: yr.no/place/…statistics.html

Flåm: tp://tinyurl.com/6p72zhf

Generally I would say that the weather is worst from September to May. Best from May through August. Note this is from living by the Sognefjord and not necessarily looking at the statistics ;-)

May-June is good. Early summer also has the advantage of long days, nearly 24 hour daylight. Mid-August nights are dark again.
